ESXI 관리자 서버리스트 호스트명/아이피 표시하기

ESXI 가상서버 리스트 화면에

아이피주소/호스트명이 알수 없다고 되어 있다

 

원인은 VMWARE Tools를 시스템에 설치 하지 않아 나타난 문제이다

 

가상서버에서 VMWARE Tools 작업 버튼을 눌러

마운트 시킨후 설치 파일을 실행해 설치하면 된다

 

리눅스용/윈도우용이 설치 프로그램이 다르다 (당연하지만)

 

리눅스용은 압축해제후 

./vmware-install.pl 을 실행하고

계속 진행을 하면 설치가 완료된다.

 

CentOS 기준 5.x 이상이면 설치에 특별히 문제는 없음

윈도우 서버내 설치테스트도 이상없음
